We had to loosen the motor mount on that side and jack up the engine as much as possible, to even get a socket on it. The main reason I had the engine pulled in the first place, I tried to replace blown manifold gaskets on passenger side, and ended up snapping the first 2 bolts off. I'm not the only one who's done this so do a search for the experience of others. The fix was heating and bending the filler tube. The biggest hiccup with installation was the interference between the header collector on the passenger side and the transmission filler tube. I later installed an additional 1/8" shim on the passenger side for additional clearance. Based on recommendations from this forum I installed 1/4" spacers between the frame and motor mounts for clearance. The engine, transmission and headers were assembled outside the car then installed 's pretty much required to do it this way due to space limitations.
